Individual Dues
In order to encourage a diverse membership, AMLA offers a sliding scale for membership dues. You are asked to join at the highest level that you can afford, remembering that it is your dues that allow the AMLA to grow into the organization that will help us all realize our dreams of a media literacy as education for the 21st century.

Renewals
Renewal notices are sent promptly by e-mail in the month before your membership expires. You may renew online using the same system as those joining new, just look for the "renewal" section on the membership options form.
To save the mounting costs of postage, paper and mailing, AMLA is increasingly using e-mail for most correspondence, including renewal notices. Please renew promptly to save us extra cost.
Update your membership profile
AMLA plans to develop a membership directory as soon as we have enough completed membership profiles to make the effort worthwhile. When you first register your membership, you give us only basic contact information. When you become a member, you will be invited to complete your membership profile and keep it up to date by regularly adding new information and removing outdated entries.
