1. 2008 Leadership Campaign:
NAMLE is the first grassrots membership organization dedicated to a cross-disciplinary approach to media literacy, with a focus on critical inquiry, learning and skill-building.
Our members are passionate about the power of education to transform lives and the critical importance of media literacy to the free and open exercise of democracy.
Your generous contribution - of whatever size - supports NAMLE 's vision and leadership in advancing the practice of media literacy education in schools and communities throughout the US.
2. Conference Scholarship Fund
In preparation for the 2009 National Media Education Conference, NAMLE's
Board of Directors invites members and supporters to start building a Conference
Scholarship Fund to assist teachers from low income schools to attend
the conference.
