2008 Election Timeline

April 21 Deadline for electronic submission of applications for the Board of Directors (midnight)

April 24 A list of candidates and their statements posted on this website and the Election Bulletin Board is opened for a period of comment.

May 7 Ballots are mailed to all AMLA members in good standing as of May 7. Return your ballot promptly to help select our national leaders.

May 22 Ballots returned (must be postmarked by midnight).

May 28 Votes counted and sent to Board for certification of election results.

June 4 Election results posted on website and in the AMLA UPDATE.

June 24 New directors/officers assume office at the AMLA Board Retreat.
